Cypress Media, Inc. is a full service optical disc replicator, duplicator and printer company based in San Jose, California. It offers custom replication and duplication  solutions and services for the manufacture, printing and packaging  of CD, DVD, Blu-ray disc, USB Flash Drive and t-shirt embroidery/screen printing.

History.

CypressMedia’s CEO worked for a major media distributor for over 8 years and was the top sales person each of those years. The company was purchased from its original owners and a foreign company came in to manage it. The new owners took a totally different direction where there was less service and more distribution. On the other hand, CypressMedia’s CEO wanted to provide better and more service to customers. Thus, he left  to start Cypress Media in 1999 with the intent of creating a service orientated business.

You see, over the years as the internet grew and online ordering grew I felt as though companies may have been more streamlined and able to reach larger markets, but they lost the customer service aspect of what they were doing.

Many companies will tell you “ customer service and quality” are important to the business but most of the time it is just a sales pitch. I believe it. I like to know who I do business with, have personal relationships and understand the needs of each customer.

We LIVE customer service. That is why we have been so successful. The customer is always right. Period! Every person I hire also has to have that philosophy. What we sell is by all means a commodity. It’s an item that can be purchased through many different people. We have to be able to provide them something they can’t get elsewhere. That’s service, while also being extremely price competitive. I won’t always be the cheapest but I’ll always keep my word.

The company started in 1999 and quickly doubled in 2 years then doubled again a few years later. In 2001 Cypress Media  was one of the Silicon Valleys fastest growing privately owned companies.  That rapid growth is attributed to our talented and experienced team, with the advantage of our skills  we will grow so much more.

What makes Cypress Media different?

Our team has a solid knowledge about the Disc Replication and related industries. We have a combined over 70 years of experience in this industry. We know the ins and outs, the best products from reliable suppliers, the best prices and the best processes.

People always ask us, ‘ why should I buy from you and not directly from the manufacturer?’  Simple: We are able to pool your order with 100 other companies just like yours and bundle that into an all inclusive account for the manufacturer. So… instead of having a company want to place an order for 5,000 discs, we place orders for 500,000 discs at a time. Therefore getting better pricing, priority manufacturing, better service and it is easier on the manufacturer since they only have to deal with one customer who is familiar with the procedures, graphic templates and all other minute but important details involved in disc replication.

It took time to develop our manufacturing partners for disc replication, USB Flash drives and apparel products. With our years of experience in the industry, we have been able to weed out the vendors that are not good at what they do and was able to develop relationships with those who are good.

Our customers are able to take our knowledge and rest assured that we have done the homework for you. No surprises. We will guide you on each and every step of  your project; from disc replication, USB Flash drive, multimedia, printing and packaging, to apparel screen printing and embroidery. We know what works and can even help with ideas for new formats and designs that will ensure you have the best product possible. As such, an average customer of ours has been with us multiple years and aren’t looking to go elsewhere.

The Cypress Media staff is amazing, educated and keeps up with current trends in technology, design and industry. Our people have years of experience and years of loyalty. We are truly a family. Our staff are sent to attend training programs annually so that the skills of our graphics and design department are up to date. We attend major industry conferences and trade shows to ensure we are keep up with the latest and greatest options for replication, printing and packaging of CD, DVD and  Blu-ray discs; USB Flash Drives and related technologies.

We are honest and totally committed to serving our customers. We accept that most of our business and we do is purchased from outside vendors who are a direct reflection of our values. This is why choose vendors with the most scrutiny. Outside vendors do the bulk of our larger work.

The smaller and quick turn orders are all done in house. This is also where we really excel. Our CD, DVD and Blu-ray duplication capacity can rival anyone in this business. We have duplicated  in house over 130,000 discs in a single day and have done that for 30 days straight!

We have no problem increasing our capacity if the works require it. We will do whatever it takes to get the job done correctly and on time. We will work 24 hrs a day, take work home, whatever it takes.

We constantly upgrade our equipment  for CD/DVD duplication towers, printers, USB duplication, Blu-ray, computers, scanners, the works. Software and state of the art computers are purchased frequently so that we are using the most up to date techniques and equipment to do the job. We always want to provide options for our customers so they don’t have to go anywhere else to get it done.
